Do you teach citizenship at key stages 3 or 4?

The Institute of Race Relations is hoping to develop some teaching materials for the citizenship curriculum based around the themes of identity, the role of media, political participation and campaigning, using its Black history collection.

If you are willing to help us by participating in a ‘focus group’ later in the year please e-mail rosie@irr.org.uk or phone: 020 7837 0041. We promise not take up much of your time and your contribution will be invaluable.

The meeting was sponsored by the Campaign Against Criminalising Communities (CAMPACC), Cageprisoners, the London Somali Youth Forum, Kurdish Federation UK, Islamic Human Rights Commission, Campaign Against Racism and Fascism (CARF), George Binette (Camden UNISON Branch Secretary Elect, personal capacity), Justice for North West 10 campaign.
