The first broadcast of Race & Class Radio is now available to download.

On 22 May 2013, Race & Class Radio premiered on No Alibis, a public affairs radio programme produced by Elizabeth Robinson and Avery Gordon that airs weekly on KCSB 91.9 FM Santa Barbara California and webcast at www.kcsb.org.

Race & Class Radio will air every three months and highlight the current issue of the IRR’s international journal published quarterly by Sage.

The 22 May 2013 programme features Liz Fekete, Director of the IRR and the journal’s reviews editor and Jon Burnett, Assistant Editor of IRR News and the author of a major article on new geographies of racial violence in the current April-June 2013 issue.   1. Irony – IRR itself has unwittingly compromised as being the outlet for news and justice on RACE relations by inequitably submerging itself in the issues of islamaphobia and grooming. Religion is a sub attribute– Race is not. Gender is not. Age and Disability are variable. Other orientation interests are vested behind the scenes.
    The concept of race has been created to subjugate, control, mug and infer superiority or inferiority. There are very few organisations left who can tackle this issue at the intellectual and/or practical level.
