The latest Race & Class radio is now available.

The latest Race & Class radio broadcast features contributors to the April 2015 issue, Robbie McVeigh and Maryam Griffin.

Robbie McVeigh discusses the criminal justice system’s response to racist violence in Northern Ireland by way of ‘empty models’ of ‘hate crime’ and ‘good relations’. People of colour and migrant workers, he suggests, are ‘living the peace process in reverse’. Listen to the interview here.

Maryam Griffin, meanwhile, examines transportation politics and the Freedom Rides in Palestine in the context of ‘the denial of the right to freedom of movement, which entrenches the ongoing separation of Palestinians across Palestine’. Listen to the interview here.

Race & Class Radio is produced by Avery Gordon and Elizabeth Robinson for No Alibis, a public affairs radio program that airs weekly on KCSB 91.9 FM Santa Barbara California from 9-11 am PST and webcasts at www.kcsb.org.
