Speakers include:

  • Liz Fekete – Institute of Race Relations (IRR) and author of A Suitable Enemy: Racism, Migration and Islamophobia in Europe introduces a discussion on the desperate plight facing hundreds of thousands of refugees attempting to flee war, persecution, torture and poverty. How we can extend  solidarity as trade unionists & challenge the government’s hopeless response?
  • Tom Henri – GUCU President reports on the last year and introduces discussion on key issues facing us in the coming term. Plus discussion of the People’s Tribunal – a review of the impact of the tripling of fees at Goldsmiths for the five year anniversary of the vote 9th Dec 2015.
