Dear IRR News subscriber,

Apologies if you have not received our weekly emails over the last few weeks, we have had a few problems, which I hope, have now been rectified.

This week, we carry a blog post reproduced with permission of JENGbA about one family’s experience of the joint enterprise laws. And Jenny Bourne reports on the ‘The new wasteland’ of Hatfield.

You may also have missed a review of an excellent new play, Glasgow Girls, an assessment of racial violence over the last few months and concerns about recent consultations affecting Gypsies and Travellers.

In news from across the UK, the deportation of a group of Tamil’s has been blocked by the High Court and the UK Border Agency has been criticised for putting pregnant asylum seekers at risk. An investigation by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism has found that two men who were stripped of their British Citizenship in 2010 later died in drone attacks.
