Dear IRR News subscriber,

This week we reproduce a letter written by the StopWatch Youth Group and we also have a special Race & Class offer for Black History Month.

In news from across the UK, a Nigerian family were targeted in a racist attack in Belfast in which a hatchet was thrown through their window and two men have been convicted for attacking Islamic mosques and prayer centres in Plymouth over a six-month period. And a Bristol man has had his sentence extended after he made threats to kill his neighbour after the Court of Appeal ruled that his sentence was unduly lenient.

Finally, we have just a few seats left for a meeting next Thursday at the IRR: Bad News for Refugees, a conversation between Greg Philo and Frances Webber.
